2010

This is the winning proposal for the Simon Bolivar International Center for Social Action through Music, in Caracas, Venezuela. Organized by the National System of Youth and Children’s Orchestras and Choruses of Venezuela (FESNOJIV) and the Andean Development Corporation (CAF).

The complex is inspired by two of its main advantages: its users (children of the National System of Children and Youth Orchestras of Venezuela), and its location (located between Boulevard Amador Bendayan and Los Caobos Park), Caracas cultural downtown. The multifonctional building will hold 2 concert halls (1700 and 1300 seats), 1 auditorium (500 seats), the music conservatory and a hotel for international meetings. An open space for visitors and users connect the program through vertical circulations, providing a continuos urban view through the Los Caobos park.
